Spiritual Principles in Business | Part 1&2
Spirituality is the hidden talk that’s involved in so many of my client conversations that I thought it worth sharing on this blog. Spirituality, morals, values, and integrity are all the core and driving force behind branding, cash flow, customer service, and employees. These are fundamental parts of every human and as a small business owner, they run deep and affect all aspects of your business.
On The Radio: Spiritual Principles in Business
This week on the Ask Christina First Radio show I discuss something that is different from the norm of small business, but deeply involved in the topic. Spirituality, your integrity, values, and morals run deep and affect all aspects of your business. This will be the first part of an ongoing conversation and I invite you to tune it.

Delegation and Your Leadership Style
The basic topic of time management is really a conversation about tasks, not time. What tasks are you involved with? What tasks do you and your business need to get done? Tasks is part of time management as well as the systemic systems that move your business forwards. Time management affects leadership and employee management skills.

Your Business and Your Stress
As a small business owner there are times when you experience stress or at least sense a feeling of urgency when it comes to your business. I have been a small business owner for over 17 years and to this day I'm aware of the need to manage my stress and sense of urgency. Symptoms of stress can be anything from feeling anxious, not sleeping well, snapping at others, to screaming, overeating or overspending.

Peter Senge on Systemic Systems
I became familiar with the term 'learning organization', and more specifically the 'systemic systems' of business through strategist Peter Senge who authored, The Fifth Discipline. Learning organizations, as defined by Senge are, organizations where people continually expand their capacity to create the results they truly desire and where new and expansive patterns of thinking are nurtured, where collective aspirations are set, and where people are continually learning to see the whole, together as a group.
