The best gift you can give your employee is your choice to lead. You are the leader by default because you started the business; but when you choose to actually lead, you hold accountability for your choices and do the things that come with being a leader. Holding your employees accountable is an act of love; it's noticing/observing what they've done and offering praise.

Kathy Fettke's real estate story started when her dad invested in an apartment with a friend and found out via postal mail that the apartment had been sold and that he had 3 weeks to do a 1031 exchange. Kathy helped him find a replacement property, a 6-bedroom home she and her husband rented from him, and they rented out a few of the rooms, and turned it into a triplex of sorts with tenants she found on craigslist.
