Critical Due Diligence Takeaways From A CRE Consultant | An Interview w. Christina Suter
On the Radio: Marketing 101
I'm a small business owner and consultant. Years ago I ran a small, conscious-minded business where I rented out space to fellow conscious-minded business owners such as yogis, spiritual teachers, and meditation groups. I thought through supporting those people I could make the world a better place.
This week on the Ask Christina First Radio Show I'll be discussing why you owe it to yourself, your customers, and your employees to market your business. Tune in today, Thursday, February 1st, at 8 am and 2 pm PT on www.awoptalk247.com to listen.
An Interview with Sensei Sean Gilliland
This week on my Ask Christina First Radio Show, we aired an interview I did with Sensei Sean Gilliland. Sean earned the nickname "Little Sensai" as a child who was involved in martial arts and who followed his instructor everywhere, wanting to be like him. Today, Sean is a real estate investor who began investing in 1995 and is the founder of Black Belt Investors. He has been a speaker at my FIBI Pasadena meetings and he uses the discipline and knowledge he obtained as one of the top 3 martial artists in the US to run his business.

Why Employees Move On Pt 2
In part one of this topic, we explored whether you liked your boss or not. This week, using the L.A. Times article published October 21, 2012, and titled Beware: Warning Signs when Choosing Next Job, we'll look at what employees may come in looking for. In the article, career experts suggest using the following questions as a basis for research:
1. How old is the company and how long has it been in business? This will help employees know whether your company is stable. Has been around long enough to have weathered and survived tough economic times.

Why Employees Move On
The start of a new year is usually the time when major life changes begin. For some, that may mean resolving to lose weight and eat healthier and for others that may mean starting the search for a new job or a career change. Today I wanted to revisit a topic I've spoken on before based on an article I read that included statistical information on why people move on from their jobs.
On the Radio: Why Employees Move On
A new year often brings change in many areas. Some people resolve to get into shape and others decide to make career or job changes. Today I will be discussing the topic of why employees leave and how you, as a business owner, can decrease employee turnover in the workplace.

Using the Holidays to Expand your Business
Happy Holidays!
I wanted to talk about how you can you use the holidays to expand your business. No matter what religion you are or what your spiritual practice is, it’s the time of year for giving. Do you run a business that has giving as part of it? Do you provide a service to people? Does your product serve others by helping them do something more easily?
