Your Business and Your Stress
As a small business owner there are times when you experience stress or at least sense a feeling of urgency when it comes to your business. I have been a small business owner for over 17 years and to this day I'm aware of the need to manage my stress and sense of urgency. Symptoms of stress can be anything from feeling anxious, not sleeping well, snapping at others, to screaming, overeating or overspending.

Peter Senge on Systemic Systems
I became familiar with the term 'learning organization', and more specifically the 'systemic systems' of business through strategist Peter Senge who authored, The Fifth Discipline. Learning organizations, as defined by Senge are, organizations where people continually expand their capacity to create the results they truly desire and where new and expansive patterns of thinking are nurtured, where collective aspirations are set, and where people are continually learning to see the whole, together as a group.

Keeping tabs on the demands and the supply you are able to offer your customers means keeping accurate tracking of your inventory and know what the trends are within your industry. This week on the Ask Christina First Radio Show I will be discussing Customer Trends.

Identifying Trends In Your Industry
With a business climate able to change as quickly as technology, policy, and trends these days allow, it's essential to know what's going on within your industry and to keep up in order to avoid becoming obsolete. A client asked me once, “How do I know what trends are affecting my industry?”
