Business Issues
Your Company's Vision
I have the heart of an entrepreneur, and as much as I love doing my work of small business management, what lights me up is helping people transform and experience abundance and freedom. Prioritizing your life and budget helps you achieve your freedom no matter your income level. My business began with a 30-second vision. Did you have a vision when you decided to be a small business owner? Does your vision drive your current business plan?
Radio: Your Company's Vision
Although I am a small business consultant, business isn't what lights me up. I'm passionate about helping people experience transformation, abundance, and freedom in their personal and professional lives. This week I will be discussing the vision you have (or should have) for your company and how that vision affects your everyday work.

Is Your Industry Moving On Without You?
Do you track your industry? Do you know where your industry is going and what's affecting it?
When automobiles took over the buggy-whip industry those who didn't make the change with the trend went out of business. When interior designers, bookstores, or restaurants don't keep up with trends or look at forecasting or changes to come in their industry they are forced to close their doors.
Radio: Is Your Industry Moving On Without You?
Do you track your industry? Do you know where your industry is going and what's affecting it? Every six months or so, intentionally read, attend conferences, and networking events surrounding your industry so you can keep up with trends.

Mindset and Personal Growth
Why did you become an entrepreneur? What was the vision that first led you to action and what keeps you going?
Your mindset is a choice. I used to wish I were like everyone else. I remember telling my therapist years ago that I just wanted to be normal. Then a funny thing happened; I shot past normal.
Radio: Mindset and Personal Growth
I am writing about this topic on a small business related blog because the joy, enthusiasm, enrollment, and engagement you bring to your business directly effects how successful your business is.

Weekly Eyes on Your Business
Last month I discussed the components of your business you should keep your eyes on weekly and monthly. This post is about the aspects of your business that need your attention and evaluation on a yearly basis. When you choose to work on your business you feel in control instead of your business controlling you.
The 5 elements of a yearly company review:
1. Profit and Loss Statement (P&L)- Take a look at your pricing, marketing, staffing, and direction.
Radio: Eyes On Your Business Yearly
This week on the radio I will be talking about the yearly review of your business as a follow-up to last week's month's show, "Eyes on your business weekly and monthly".

Eyes on Your Business Weekly & Monthly
As a business owner, I recommend you have regular company reviews. Weekly, monthly, bi-annual, and annual collections of information lead to positive, effective reviews. Weekly you should enter the hours for you and your employees, your billing and invoicing, tracking information on inventory, pricing, sales, and anything specific to you and your business like your social media or marketing initiatives.
Two Cornerstones That Will Break Your Company
What are the two elements that require your attention so your business doesn't fall apart? There are nine elements that can be divided into 3 categories within your business: Level 1- products, systems, customer service. Level 2- marketing, finance, team. Level 3- leadership, trends & forecasting, envisioning and strategic planning. Each element serves a primary purpose in your business.
